landscape painting

I am a landscape painter and a long-standing member of Art Works Downtown. I work both in plein air and in the studio. I am also a retired firefighter/paramedic, and am now devoting my full time to painting.

My subject is primarily Marin County, though I often paint in different parts of the country. I studied at the Pacific Northwest School of Art, and the University of Oregon, where I graduated with a degree in Fine Arts in 1978.

I maintain my paramedic license, and volunteer for overseas medical teams, and am a member of the Disaster Medical Assistance Team of the Dept. of Health and Human Services.
