Carol Peek is a native Californian who grew up riding horses from the pacific coast through the Sierra Nevada mountains; these outdoor experiences influenced her deep appreciation of the natural world.

Now in her mature career phase, Carol is interested in more than meets the eye, often integrating sacred geometric armatures in her work influencing the placement of subjects or a focal point in a specific area which offers a deeply felt harmonious design. 

Always focused on color and light, Carol presents an image of the world through her eyes, going deeper than the camera or the human eye and harvesting what lies deep within us as we experience something meaningful in our world.

Carol began teaching in 2010 and admits that this experience brings connection, community and joy to her life and was an unexpected and delightful gift. The privilege of sharing with others her knowledge of materials and the possibilities that lie within each person to create something of their own has been a powerful experience for both teacher and student.
