Forty artists painted in Downtown San Rafael on Saturday, August 29. This was the First Annual Artists in Action / Downtown San Rafael Plein Air Event, and it was produced by a partnership of Marin Open Studios MOS and the Downtown San Rafael Business Improvement District BID. Awards were provided by sponsoring downtown San Rafael businesses and 47 artworks were judged by Marin artist Timothy Horn. Artwork from the event will be on display in the Founders' Gallery.
