Electric Night is a study of ambient light taken at night with a medium format film camera over the last four years. I want to show the interaction between different forms of electric light and natural light. It has always been an underlying side project while I was making other work locally, on the Gulf Coast, and in Europe. I grew up in San Rafael. For the last 10 years I have put all my efforts into traveling and making photographs, mostly in Africa and Asia, which will be the subject of future projects.
