About Art Works Downtown

Mission Statement / Art Works Downtown, Inc. encourages and facilitates artistic activities in order to broaden and deepen the public's engagement with the visual arts. By providing low income housing, studio and exhibition space, and business opportunities to artists, and by offering educational programs, Art Works Downtown strengthens the interface between artists and the general public, contributing to the creative fabric of the community.

What we offer:

Studios / providing affordable workspace to more than 40 local artists and organizations. The studios provide an ongoing opportunity for the public to visit and view art in the making.
